Staff Selection Commission (SSC):
SSC recruits staff for various post in Indian ministries and departments of Government of India. SSC conducts Subordinate services too. SSC is an office of Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT). There is a chairman, two members and a secretary cum controller of examinations in SSC. This post is equal to the level of Additional Secretary to Government of India.The Commission was enacted by the Estimate Committee in Indian Parliament in its 47th report(1967-68) for conducting the Examinations to lower categories of post in various Ministeries and Government Departments. By the reforms on 4th November of 1975 Government of India constituted Subordinate Services Commission.Later on this commission was renamed as Staff Selection Commission on 26th September 1977.
The functions of Commission was redifined by the Ministery Of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions in May 21st of 1999. Then SSC constitution & functions came into effect from first June 1999. SSC Head Quarters in New Delhi. SSC has seven regional offices in India, and the offices located are at Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Bangalore, New Delhi. It has two sub regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.

-SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM
-SSC JUNIOR ENGINEER SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL PRELIMS EXAM
